About the Author
Amanda Maloney is the creator of Mom Mindset Mastery, where she helps mothers trade overwhelm for clarity and confidence. Drawing from her own journey of balancing motherhood and self-discovery, Amanda equips women with practical strategies and mindset shifts that actually fit into real life (messy kitchens and all). Her work is rooted in the belief that motherhood doesn’t mean losing yourself, it’s a powerful chance to redefine yourself.

When she’s not writing or coaching, Amanda can be found negotiating with her teenagers, laughing at her own jokes, and enjoying a rare quiet cup of tea before the day takes off.

What inspired you to write your book?
I spent years bouncing between corporate jobs and part-time work, constantly juggling motherhood and finances. With only two weeks of vacation, school breaks, sports, and endless appointments, it felt like most of my paycheck went to keeping my kids entertained while I was stuck at work. I was stressed, burned out, and yelling more than I’d like to admit.
Then 2020 hit and the world pressed pause. I was juggling work and homeschooling while trying to find ways to keep my family positive during the uncertain times. One late-night Google spiral led me to an ad about something called a Superconscious Recode, which piqued my interest. I clicked on the ad, and that was my turning point.
I dove in as a client, went on to get certified, and launched my coaching business. Soon I realized I wasn’t sweating the small stuff anymore, I was actually enjoying my life. Meanwhile, every mom I knew was still buried under stress and to-do lists. That’s when I knew I had to write this book, to share the tools and mindset shifts that completely changed my life (and saved my sanity).

Who is the book for, and what do you hope they take away?
This book is for moms who are juggling it all… work, family, and life… yet feel like they’re running on empty. It’s for the women who look “put together” on the outside but are secretly stressed, overwhelmed, and wishing for a little more joy and ease in their days.
I hope readers take away practical tools and mindset shifts they can actually use…not just motivational quotes. My goal is to help them feel lighter, more in control, and confident in their ability to create a life they love. And most importantly, I want them to remember that even in the chaos, they can find peace, joy, and a little fun along the way.

How has being an author influenced your coaching practice (or vice versa)?
Writing this book has deepened my coaching practice in a huge way. Putting my experiences and strategies into words made me reflect on the mindset shifts that truly transform a mom’s life… and that clarity has carried over into every session I coach.
On the flip side, my coaching work directly shaped the book. Working with real moms, hearing their struggles, and celebrating their breakthroughs helped me focus on practical, actionable tools that actually work in the day-to-day chaos of motherhood.
If someone is on the fence about purchasing your book, what’s the one thing you’d tell them?
If you’re tired of feeling frazzled and burned out, this book shows you how to reclaim your sanity, and have some fun along the way.
Is there a particular section or passage you’re incredibly proud of?
One of my favorite sections is where I talk about Segment Intending. It’s a simple but powerful mindset strategy where you set an intention for the successful completion of a task (whether it’s the school drop-off, a work meeting, or even the dreaded grocery run). This shifts the energy to something positive and helps you move through the task with purpose. For example, you could offer up the completion of your laundry pile to send positive vibes to a friend going through a hard time. When I share this in coaching, I see real shifts happen instantly, and I’m proud to bring that same tool to readers so they can feel more in control, calm and even a little joyful in the chaos.
Where can people find your book and connect with you?

Anything else you’d like to share with The OnlyBetter Collective community?
To all the moms out there, you’re doing better than you think. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, but you don’t have to just survive your days…you can actually enjoy them. Small mindset shifts, like the ones in my book, can make a huge difference. You deserve to feel calm, in control, and joyful in the chaos of motherhood.
